When you’re building your docking facility and are undecided as to which type of piling to use, the choice can be made by asking yourself do I like the natural nautical look of a round wood pile or shall I have a boxed in concrete pile with pressure treated lumber and a long life span?
If your decision was to have that natural look, we offer piling ranging in dimensions varying from 8’’ to 16’’ in diameter and lengths varying from 14’ to 50’.
Due to the fact a wood piling has a life span significantly much less than that of a typical concrete pile, around 15 years, B.K. Marine Construction, Inc. has the ability to extend the life of your existing wood piling by installing a perma wrap sleave around the pile. This wrap is used to protect your pile from the marine life that deteriorate your pile by eating away at the wood piling at the water line.
